June 8, 2008 - We blessed Evie Jane DeVries. Grandma & Grandpa DeVries and Liz & Steve Packer family came to Oregon for the occassion. Sunday was a clear, beautiful sunny day.
Multnomah Falls
This last week my family came up to Oregon for Evie's blessing. It decided to rain the entire time they were here, except for the clearing and sunshine as they drove back to the airport to return home on Thursday. We still had a great time and you can't truly have the Oregon experience without the rain. Why do you think its so green?
when they arrived on Saturday we drove out to Multnomah Falls. It is a beautiful waterfall in the Gorge and is only a short mile straight up through a series of switchbacks. Everyone made it to the top without incident or too much panting, whining, screaming, or piggybacks. The view from the top is amazing as you search the Columbia Gorge, but the view from the base of the falls is also very impressive.
