"Just deal with it!"

The other night it was about 10:30pm and our 4 year old Eden was still awake due to a long afternoon nap. We were all jammied up and getting ready to jump in bed when leaving the bathroom Eden said.

"I wish my hair was straight!"
In turning my rear to the bathroom mirror and looking at my backside, I said. "I wish my bum were smaller."
She looked up at me and I down at her and in giving her a hug, I asked. "Well, what should we do about it?
Her honest and quick reply made me laugh. "Just deal with it!" Was her answer.
Just deal with it.
Exactly.

What should someone get divorced over?

No, our marriage isn't ending. Just last night here is the conversation I had with Tate while trimming his hair. I had to laugh and write it down.

Me: Did Sister Scott teach your class today?
Tate: Yeah, and Sister Reeves.
Me: Oh, she was there? She just got married on Friday. I wonder what her new last name is?
Tate: She got married? But she has kids.
Me: Yeah, but got a divorce.
Tate: What's a divorce?
Me: When people don't stay married anymore.
Tate: Oh, when they want to get rid of them then they get a divorce?
Me: (chuckle) Yes.
Tate: Are you divorced?
Me: No.
Tate: Have you ever been divorced?
Me: No.
Tate: Would you ever divorce Dad?
Me: Only if he did something really really bad.
Tate: He does.
Me: Oh?(curious) What does he do?
Tate: He says bad words.
Me: (chuckle) Oh? Like what?
Tate: He says the word "BUTT!"

Hmmm. Explain that one to a divorce attorney, right?

Another one Down!

In realizing that I rarely post, I guess I'm not asking for a big response. But, I do need some advice.
So today without going into detail, our new camera (as of May) was used as a weapon amongst other family members. Instead of fleeing the situation, the camera went into battle to defend a child against the other 2 children. Needless to say, the beating was so great that it lost another battle. I don't recall the exact number of the fallen. 3 would be my guess. After some ice and a long talk, I decided that we should not have Christmas, only that I should get a new camera. Of course that did not go over the best. Not as bad as I thought though. I had the children try to come up with ways that they would be responsible in earning the money for another camera. The ideas were limited to selling lemonade, their personal items and a kissing booth?... I was also stuck just thinking about a solution.

So hers's the question that I need help in resolving. What should I do to have my children earn money to replace the camera? For those who have children or have raised children please input if you will. Don't take a lot of thought (because I know how schedules are busy) just something that has worked for you. Their ages are 8, 6 and 4 years old.
