No pictures

I am not only good or consistent at blogging entries, but there will sadly be no current pictures for a while. A few months ago (last September to be exact)there was the dropping of our camera and it lost the battle hitting the ground 20 too many times and we replaced it. We were able to post pictures and no problems until just recently. Now it seems that there is a little explorer that can now walk and toddle around our house and has been named as our instant garbage girl. A set of important car keys have gone missing along with the picture shooter. We have searched the house over and over again and have come to conclude that the missing camera is now sitting in some land fill next to dirty disposable diapers, cracked egg shells and Scott's car keys. Maybe if it was an envelope full of Ben Franklins I'd go digging for it~But it happens to be a camera with a memory stick full of priceless moments in our lives that just got tossed out with the trash. The irony really. Well the little cleaner baby girl just turned 1 and later in life when she inquires where her 1st Birthday pictures are, I'll have to tell her the plain and simple truth about how she loved to clean and then why she needs to keep her room cleaned or she'll have to turn away sleep over and party invites. Sad life, I tell ya. Anyway lots of good stuff on that stick--word to the wise... Just upload the pictures after every meaningful event after pictures have been taken~ Because you never know when the cleaning lady will really be coming to your house!

Oh no!! I'm so sorry! I'm crossing my fingers that you'll find the camera in some super random spot that you haven't thought of yet. I really, really, really hope it didn't go out with the garbage!

I am so sorry! I agree that some things really are priceless. The older I get the more I recognize what matters most and what "things" are most important. I do wish there would be a miracle and you would find the camera (also the car keys). Good luck!

I keep hoping it will turn up somewhere too!! You can send the cleaning lady to my house any time--just warn me first so I can hide the valuables! haha!
Hope you have a fun weekend!

ohhhh. Cute post anyway! Been there done that. It is so agonizing to dwell on it though. (We lost the entire first year of Nathan's life in Pictures once from a computer crash/virus.)

Maybe she'll be cleaning again and find it :-)

Thanks to everyone that wrote comments--all of the positive thinking must of paid off. Just a week or so after posting the blog and then days later, I went out and bought another camera at Costco. The very very next morning I was in Evie's room early laying down on the floor and thought "why don't I look under her crib ruffle?" I did and there was the camera! I was really shocked---I'd looked everywhere! So I thought anyway. So thankfully the memories are not lost and will owe an apology to Evie later in her life.
