This weekend we went to Sun River near Bend, Oregon with some friends. After church we took the younger kids to LAVA Butte--volcanic land of 400 cinders cones associated with the Newberry Volcano. It really was beautiful, cold (for me) and yet amazing. Did this all really take place 40 million years ago?
I am sure that a few pictures could be throwing several of you off--If you've just counted 6 children in these photos...that's correct. Are they all ours? NOOO! They were "just for the day kids" that jumped in our vehicle. Actually, we rented them from our good friends--pretty cheap too!
How more perfect could a picture be if Eden wasn't straddling the fence rod? Tough question.
Maddy with her BFF, Sarah Dyer. They are again in the same grade and class for the 4th year in a row. Sarah's mom is working her magic!
On the way home Monday all three families stopped in sisters to let the kids boulder. It is a great way to encourage them to rock climb. All 12 of the kids got into it, including the babies. This is the same spot that Scott and his good friends bouldered on the way out Friday night with headlamps.

Fun! What a great introduction to rock climbing for the kiddos! And, Miss Evie looks alot like your baby pictures. I think she looks the most like you out of all your kids' baby pictures at that age.
